Manju Warrier (born 1 November 1978) is an Indian film actress. She was among the popular lead actress in Malayalam cinema during the mid to late-1990s. Warrier made her debut in Saakshyam (1995). Her well known films include Sallapam, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu (1996), Thooval Kottaram(1996), Kaliyattam (1997), Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu (1997), Daya (1998), Summer in Bethlehem (1998), and Pathram (1999). She won theNational Film Award - Special Jury Award for her performance in Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu (1999). She got married to actor Dileep in 1998, and has quit acting since then.

Even when she was at school, Manju showed extra ordinary talent in dance, and won many awards. She was conferred Kalathilakam in Kerala Youth Festival for 2 years.
At the age of 17, she debut in the film Sakshyam (1995).[1] Later at the age of 18, she acted in the movie Sallapam (1996), co-starring actor Dileep, which became a big hit. Since then, she acted in around 20 Malayalam movies over a span of three years, most of which have been hits. She has won numerous awards and critical acclaim and was considered to be the top heroine of her period. She is still one of the most loved actresses inMalayalam. She has not acted in any other languages in her career. She was initially the first choice for the movie Alaipayuthey by director Mani Ratnam, but was not able to do the movie because of date hassles and then her sudden marriage.
Her performance in the movie Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu was extraordinary and won a special mention from jury for national film awards. Her other popular films are Kanmadam and Aaraam Thampuran with Mohanlal, Ee Puzhayum Kadannu and Kudamattom with Dileep, Summer In Bethlahem, Pranayavarnnangal, Pathram and Kaliyattamwith Suresh Gopi, Irattakuttikalude Achan, Kaliveedu, Thooval Kottaram and Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu with Jayaram. Her performances in these films won critical and commercial acclaim. She left the film field at the peak of her career.
She married actor Dileep .After her marriage with Dileep, she retired from the film industry. The last film in which she acted before retiring from industry was Pathram, co-starring Suresh Gopi.

Manju Warrier's father is an accountant, and mother a housewife. She has one brother Madhu Warrier who is also an actor (appeared in a movie called "Campus" among several others). She did her schooling from Chovva High school and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur.
She was a talented dancer and made her debut in Malayalam films at the age of 18. She established herself as an actress par excellence in a very short period from her debut. She has also won the Kerala state award for best actress for the year 1996.
Manju Warrier got married to actor Dileep on 20 October 1998 at Aluva Sri Krishna Temple. She now lives in Kochi with Dileep and daughter, Meenakshi.
