Babu Antony (Malayalam: ബാബു ആന്റണി) is an Indian film actor, noted mainly for his negative character roles. He has also acted as a lead actor in a number of films. His life and movie roles are much debated in film industry at one time.
He made his debut in Bharathan's Chilampu (1986). He started his career in antagonist roles and later on featured in lead roles with the image of an angry young man. Fazil's 1986 thriller Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal was a hit on account of Babu Antony's breath taking performance. The film was remade into Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada and Babu Antony portrayed reprised his role in all the four versions, which might be a record held only by him. His career highlights include Vaishali (1988), Aparhnnam (1991), and Uppukandam Brothers (1993). In Tamil , he has acted in Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya, portraying Jessie(Trisha)'s father Joseph. In the film Kanchana (2011), he portrayed the role of Muslim Bhai. he also stars as villain in Sri Lanakan film Leader (2009)

Babu Antony, a Fifth Dan Black Belt in martial arts is the only martial arts expert hero in Malayalam cinema to reach stardom by excelling in racy fight scenes. He taught martial arts to Papal pontifical college Pune many years. The six-foot plus actor also known as Bob Antony in Hindi films made his debut by playing a negative role in renowned late director Bharathan’s Malayalam film Chilambu. His monopoly in quick punches, fast kicks and fluid movements in action scenes has merited him roles in 160 films in different languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.His heroic performance as an angry young man built a huge fan following among the audience especially youngsters in movies like Bharanakoodam, Gandhari, Chantha, Dada, Kadal, Kambolam etc. His portrayal of negative characters with shoulder level hair and beard redefined the entire concept of a villain.Babu Antony shone in action roles as a hero and villain, at the same time proved his mettle as an actor by performing a king’s role in Vaishali, an ex-terrorist role in Aparahnam and an impecunious in Sayaahnam. Few of his films were featured in national and international festivals and won recognitions. Babu Antony, who terrorised the audience in villain roles in several films and the audience rooted for this actor, the directors were wary to offer him lead roles.

Ayilya Nair (born 29 March 1987), better known by her stage name Ananya, is an Indian film actress, who appears in [[Cinema of Kerala|Malayalam]and[[Tamil cinema|Tamil]films. She made her acting debut in Malayalam with Positive (2008) and debuted the following year in Tamil with Naadodigal, which emerged a critical and commercial success. She currently has a list of films in her hands in Malayalam and Tamil.

Ananya was born as Agalya to Malayali parents Gopalakrishnan Nair, a noted film producer, and Praseetha in Perumbavoor, Kerala.[2] She has one brother Arjun, who is an engineering student. She appeared as a child artist in one of her father's productions, Pai Brothers (1995).[3] Ananya pursued a B.A. degree in Communicative English at St. Xavier's College, Aluva.[2][3] During her childhood, she was an archer and won the State Championship.[4] While representing her college in a television reality show "Star Wars",[2] she was spotted by various directors and received acting offers. After declining five projects, she decided to give it a try, accepting to act in Positive.[3]

Her screenname changed to Ananya, when she was working in her debut Tamil film Naadodigal.[4] The film was a high commercial success,[5] and Ananya rose to fame, with her performance in the film being appreciated.[6] She went on to reprise the same role in its Malayalam remake Ithu Nammude Katha. The film Shikkar alongside Mohanlal, gave her a big break in Malayalam. She did some thrilling scenes in the climax of the movie Shikkar that impressed Mohanlal, which made him call her the "Vijayashanti" of Malayalam.[7] She also played a supporting role in Kandahar, which saw her sharing screen space with Mohanlal,Sunil Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan.[8] In 2011, Ananya played one of the female lead roles in Engeyum Eppodhum, which received rave reviews and became a sleeper hit.[9][10] Ananya later stated, "I am in no hurry. I want to wait and watch and choose my projects with care. I have been getting a lot of offers from Tamil especially after Engeyum Eppodhum became a big success".[11]

Ananya got engaged to Anjaneyan, a businessman from Trichur on 3 February 2012. However 2 weeks later news came that she has called of her engagement after knowing that Anjaneyan had a previous marriage from which he had sought divorce [12]. This news hasnt been confirmed by the actress nor by her family.
